Today's Walk in the Park

Today's walk in the park was a little unusual. I met a young girl, somewhere between 18 and 20 years old, and single. She shared with me that she had given up on love, that love breaks your heart. What surprised me was that she was talking about the death of her father, at a fairly young age. Since then, her heart has been broken. I'm aware that the relationship between fathers and daughters is so important. So, that got me talking to her about my packet. And death.
Dying is a Christian thing. Nobody should live forever. The earth is too crowded even now. Some people have difficulty finding just the basic needs of food, water and shelter. Why is it a Christian thing to die? Because we are giving up our life so others may live and have these things. The Bible says that the greatest thing we can do is give our life up for others, which I believe is true.
The young lady took my packet and she said she wanted to see me again sometime in the park. That was nice; she was a total stranger.
